Job Description:

Our entity Eml Data Intelligence (EDI) is looking for its Product Owner Data. You will be involved in data projects (Reporting, BI, Data Management, Big Data, Analytics) in a Cloud environment (Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft AZURE) within our partner customers. You will be a major player in the Design, Conception and Deployment phases. You will evolve in a resolutely international context where each actor has his place and where solidarity and mutual aid are fundamental. You will work in a rich, highly diversified and constantly changing technical environment. You will be in charge of one or more Data projects from the definition of the needs to the implementation with IT and their continuous improvement. You will be in charge of detecting user problems and identifying appropriate solutions to the need, with feasibility/alternatives elements on the whole value production chain.

Responsibilities:

• Frame, challenge and prioritize Data projects from their initiation
• Lead workshops with the client and/or end users to understand their needs precisely
• Define the product vision in agreement with the project stakeholders, and communicate it to the teams through the product roadmap
• Write User Stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Lead SCRUM agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, …)
• Ensure functional acceptance
• Manage the project, in coordination with the customer, the data team and IT, and ensure communication between stakeholders throughout the project
• Follow up projects from the POC to their eventual industrialization

Skills required:

With a degree in engineering or a high level of training in the field of information technology, you have a hybrid profile between an understanding of business issues and a mastery of Data Science. You will be in charge of one or more Data projects from the definition of the needs to the implementation with IT and their continuous improvement. You will be in charge of detecting user problems and identifying appropriate solutions to the need, with feasibility/alternatives elements on the entire value production chain. And to carry out these responsibilities, you have the following skills:

• Ability to translate customer needs into product uses and features
• Mastery of the challenges of Big Data
• Ability to understand the principles and practices of data analysis and the latest advances in Machine Learning to identify potential product applications
• Understanding of the Data architecture around the data (Data Lake, Data-Hub, Data-Lab, Data Warehouse, Pipeline)
• Knowledge of the different solutions on the market (Cloud, Data Governance, Data virtualization, ETL …)
• Ability to understand the different roles within the Data team (Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, …)
• End-to-end vision of data processing
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of data modeling, have a BI/data culture

Optimal profile:

You have:
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Analytical mindset while being autonomous
• Good listening and communication skills

Language:
• Fluent French (Imperative)
• Professional English (Secondary)

Hard Skills:
• SQL
• Power BI (or other data viz tools)

• Strength of proposal
• Positive and dynamic attitude
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Analytical mind and ability to summarize
